Just Baked is welcoming a new owner!!

We would like to officially announce that Just Baked Cupcakes & Coffee House has a new owner, Maggie Salemme.  As a lot of you may already know we have had a desire to open a location in Charleston SC with a different concept than Just Baked. We have recently received an offer on our business and decided, after careful consideration that we will accept the offer and pursue our dream in Charleston. This is a very bittersweet time for us, we have spent the past two years building relationships with all of our wonderful customers and it will be very hard to leave. We do find comfort in knowing that Maggie is very excited to start building relationships with each and everyone of you and is committed to keeping the same standard of quality that we strive to provide. The recipes and coffee menu will remain the same, but Maggie has also expressed a desire to add some new and exciting things to the business as well. We have spent the last two weeks training a very talented and wonderful baker Adrienne. If you have gotten cupcakes during the last two weeks then she has been the talent behind them. She will be working full time for Maggie as Head Baker. We have been so impressed with this young lady over the last two weeks, we only wish we had found her two years ago! We are planning a "meet the new owner" private party for all of our Facebook fans on September 4th. We will be closed during our regular business hours that day but will open the doors at 6pm for this event. There will be free cupcakes and adult beverages available for purchase. We hope that everyone will come out and give Maggie a big welcome!!

We would like everyone to know that we are truly grateful for all of you and for letting us be a small part of your lives. We will miss each and every one of you! We hope that you will stop in and see us next time you are in the Charleston area!
